The migration to 2.4.2.7 changed
the the way current volume levels, left-right (balance)
relationships, and linking are set. Below are instructions to set
the volume control and linking relationships for use with
Rock-Ola's Red (6 button) volume control, IR wireless and new RF
wireless remote controls.
2-zone Mono or Stereo, balance
centered, INT and EXT Buttons not linked.
(Factory Default)
From the service console, go to:

Audio Amplifier Menu

Configure
Paid Selection Volume Menu

Set
Paid Output Volume and Linkage Menu

Set
all channel link options to “NONE”

all volume levels to midpoint (20)

back 2 screens

to Configure Background Volume Menu

Background Output Volume Menu

Set
all background volume levels to match paid levels

Exit
back and return to Set paid output volume and linkage Menu

Link
channel 2 to channel 1

From the service console, go to:

- Configure Audio Amplifier Menu
- Configure Paid Selection Volume Menu
- Set Paid Output Volume and Linkage Menu
- Set all channel link options to “NONE”
- Set all volume levels to midpoint (20)
- To adjust INTERNAL Balance, increase the ch 2
volume to increase the right channel. To bias to the left,
increase the ch 1 volume by that amount.
- To adjust EXTERNAL Balance, increase the ch 4
volume to increase the right channel. To bias to the left,
increase the ch 3 volume by that amount.
- Exit back 2 screens
- Go to Configure Background Volume Menu
- Set Background Output Volume Menu
- Set all background volume levels to match paid
levels
- Exit back and return to Set paid output volume
and linkage Menu
- Link channel 2 to channel 1
- Link channel 4 to channel 3
1-zone Mono or Stereo, balances centered, all speakers in the same room
at the same volume level, INT and EXT Volume Buttons linked:

- System Settings and Diagnostics Menu
- Configure Audio Amplifier Menu
- Configure Paid Selection Volume Menu
- Set Paid Output Volume and Linkage Menu
- Set all channel link options to “NONE”
- Set all volume levels to midpoint (20)
- Adjust the volume levels for the desired balance
between internal and external speakers (floor model) and/or
between the speakers connected to each channel of the power
amplifier (wall models).
- Exit back 2 screens
- Go to Configure Background Volume Menu
- Set Background Output Volume Menu
- Set all background volume levels to match paid
levels
- Exit back and return to Set paid output volume
and linkage Menu
- Link channel 2 to channel 1
- Link channel 3 to channel 1
- Link channel 4 to channel 1
